Obituary for Barry Bradley Cooper

Barry Bradley Cooper, 69 of Sparta, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 16, 2020, at Saint Thomas Highlands Hopital.

He was born Friday, May 11, 1951 in Nashville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late John Nathan Cooper and Jane Bradley Harrison.

In Barry's life, he enjoyed cattle and horses. He enjoyed working with young people. His favorite hobby was roping. He enjoyed writing poetry, educational information for youth and eventually, wrote a book titled "Blackie Goes to School, " He earned the name Cowboy Poet of Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Nathan Cooper, his grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.

Mother- Jane Bradley Harrison of Sparta, TN

Sisters- Cyndi J. Murdock of Cookeville, TN and Susan Cooper of McMinnville, TN

Special Friend- Nelda Gross of Sparta, TN

Niece- Aminee M. Cumby (Justin) of Cookeville, TN

Great-Nieces- Lakyn Jane Cumby and London Grace Cumby of Cookeville, TN

Many friends and neighbors also survive

A private service will be held at a later date.
