Benita Grace Blanton, age 65 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022, at NHC Healthcare of Cookeville.

She was born September 10, 1956 in Cookeville, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Frank Davidson and the late Ollie Steele Davidson. She was in the convenient store business in Sparta for over 30 years. She also served as a nurse at the White County Hospital for 14 years where she was best known for her loving heart, her hardworking nature and her joyful spirit.

Husband- Jack Blanton of Sparta, TN

Daughters- Nicole Blanton of Sparta, TN and Patricia Blanton Benetiz of Sparta, TN

Son- Scott Blanton of GA

6 Grandchildren

9 Great-Grandchildren

Sister- Brenda Chliszczyk

Brothers- Joe Davidson and Michael Davidson

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Jamie McCormick officiating. The family will welcome friends on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of the service at the funeral home.
