Obituary for Carlo "Chuck" Joseph Spicciati

Carlo "Chuck" Joseph Spicciati, age 85, of Sparta, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023.

Carlo was born December 24, 1937 to the late Joseph and Irene Spicciati in Milwaukee WI.

He was a loving Husband of 58 years, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, and Brother.

After graduating high school, Carlo joined the US Air Force and served four years as a Ground Support Equipment Technician in Japan, South Korea and finally Tennessee.
After separating from the USAF, Carlo and his new bride, Clayta, moved to Milwaukee, WI and raised a family. Carlo worked at Wisconsin Motors as a small engine assembler and tester until the plant closed in 1995 and he took early retirement. It was then that Carlo and Clayta moved back to a portion of the White County family farm to build their dream home.

Carlo enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling and could always be found fixing something for someone.

Carlo is preceded in death by his parents, wife Clayta, and sisters Joanne and Concetta,.

Those left to cherish his memory are daughter Pam Spicciati of Sparta,and son Jay (Sandy) Spicciati of Omaha, Nebraska.

Grandchildren: Thomas (Caitlin) Spicciati of San Antonio, Texas; Samantha Spicciati of Minot, North Dakota.

Great Grandchildren: Quinten Spicciati, Casen Spicciati, Westin Spicciati and Faith Marie Spicciati.

A host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Pine Wood Cemetery located at 150 Clay Wilson Road in Sparta, TN with full military honors provided by the Veteran's Honor Guard.
