Obituary for Dorothy Ann Braud
Dorothy Ann "Dot" Braud, age 83 was born November 5 1938, in Indianola , Mississippi and went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 11, 2022
She was devoted to her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, to her beloved husband, Byron Charles Braud, her 3 sons, Ray, Curtis, and Eddie Corban and to all her family & friends!
She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother Hugh & Dessie Sherwood and stepmother, Louise Sherwood, son, Curtis Corban, brother & sister in law, Billie Jo & Faye Sherwood,sister Brenda O’Bryant and sister in law Mary Glascoe.
She is survived by her two sons, Julius (Ray) & Eddie Corban, her grandson Chad Linck & wife Mallory and grandchildren, Corban, Kamryn, Reece, & Rylee and Byron’s daughters, Lana Foster (Bob) Dana Brenn (Dowell) Dee-Ann Tassin (Carey) and Leah Millet (Chance) and numerous grandchildren.
Also survived by Joan & Ken Belanger-sister & brother in law, Brothers & wives Stanley & Lessie Sherwood, Sidney & Sug Sherwood and brother Sammy Glascoe and brother in law, Tommy O’Bryant.
She had numerous nieces & nephews that she loved to spoil when they visited!
She spent her working years & retired as a Secretary at Rubicon Chemical Plant in Geismar Louisiana until she retired to Sparta,Tennessee which she dearly loved.
She enjoyed visiting the nursing home and growing her beautiful flowers!
She was a member of Valley View Baptist Church, Sparta, Tn.

A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Cecil Johnston, Howard Gorter, and Chad Linck officiating, Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Sparta, TN.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude’s Research Hospital or Gideons International, Sparta, Tn.
