Funeral services for Dorothy (Dot) Randolph, 80, of Sparta will be held Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Sparta with Bro. Clint Walker officiating. Burial to follow at Saylors Cemetery in White County.

Visitation will be Sunday from 11-3 and the funeral at 3:00 PM.

Mrs. Randolph departed this life at home surrounded by her family.

She was born on June 13, 1940, in Putnam County, to the late Cordell Holman and Clara Williams Holman. Dot was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59 years, John H. Randolph; James Martin, brother-in-law; and Tracy Martin, niece.

Before her retirement in 2001, Dot was employed at Cummins Filtration and after retirement she enjoyed canning vegetables raised in their garden. Nothing made her happier than cooking for her friends and family. She also looked forward to her two shopping trips to Hamricks each year. She was a member of Pistole Southern Baptist Church and was loved by her church family.

Dorothy is survived by one sister, Mable Martin of Sparta; two daughters, Penny Riddle and husband Bruce, Lisa Braddom and husband Dennis, all of Sparta; four grandchildren, LeAnn (John) Looper of Monterey, Carrie (Justin) Roberson of Cookeville, John Bailey (Amanda), Kaitlin Bailey and Clifton Brown all of Sparta; five great-grandchildren, Jeremih, Annie, Kace, Aidria, Hudson, and Lennon Kate; two sisters-in-law; one niece; one nephew.

Pallbearers will be John Bailey, John Looper, Justin Roberson, Clifton Brown, Jeffery Sliger, and Tommy Austin.
