Dwight Lee Winnett, age 74 of Sparta, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at his home.

Dwight was born Sunday, March 7, 1948 in Sparta, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Jessie Winnett and the late Ruth Parker Winnett.

Dwight was a faithful member of the East Sparta Church of God. He was retired from Thomas Industries after 45 years as an industrial electrician. He was a UT and Nascar Race fan. He was very creative in woodworking. He played baseball and coached Little League. Most of all, he enjoyed time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Dwight was preceded in death by his father-in-law Henry Johnson Sr.

grandson, Samael Isaac Winnett
mother-in-law, Alma Rose Johnson
brother-in-law, Henry Junior Johnson and wife Brenda

A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Steve Gerhart and Drew Eastes officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Sparta, TN.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM on Monday, October 17, 2022, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home.
