Edna “Earlene” McCormick, 89, of Sparta, TN passed away at NHC of Cookeville, TN on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Earlene was born on October 28, 1931 to the late Silas & Elsie Luna. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sparta.


In addition to her parents, Mrs. McCormick was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Willie C. “Bill”McCormick, their Son, Larry McCormick, and siblings Buford Luna, Leona Roberts, Jammie Luna.


Surviving family include:
Son, Allan McCormick (Becky)
Daughter, Tracy Burnette (Tim)
Grandchildren, Brad McCormick, Brian McCormick, Tyler Burnette, and Tanner Burnette.
Sisters, Ovean Phifer and Dinky Adcock.
Brother- Danny Luna.
Several Great-Grandchildren and nieces and nephews are also survived.


The Memorial Service will be held at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 12 pm with Bro. Brad Walker officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 AM till the time of service.
