Doyle Eneloit Williams Smith was born June 17, 1942 in the Center Grove Community of Jackson County Tennessee to the late Nora Margret Flatt and Hyram Hansford “Snake” Williams. She passed away October, 24, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Victor Smith, infant sister, Mary Frances, sister, Shirley Ann Williams Fields, and stepson, Roger Smith along with many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Kevin C. and Janet Harris Smith of Sparta, TN and her grandsons, Canaan and Seth Smith. A brother-in-law James H (Linda) Smith, sisters-in-law Christine (Howard) Bryant, Mary Burgess, Jo Helen (Frank) Baker, Jean Denton of Cookeville, AV (Aaron) Meeks of Smithville, Jean Smith of South Carolina, Jewell Wingard of Arkansas and special nephew, Dr. Lamar Smith along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her husband Cecil was the love of her life. She married Cecil on February 15, 1972, and they enjoyed 30 years of marriage. She was proud of her only son, Kevin and her grandsons, Canaan and Seth. They often asked her to come spend the night and stay in “Nana’s room”. She was the best mother-in-law to Janet. They shared many talks and laughs. Eneloit was a proud graduate of Jackson County High Class of 1961 and loved getting together with them. She had many jobs over the years from Cream City Ice Cream, Washington Manufacturing to her last job as manager at Mapco or as the locals called it the Red Ace. She worked there for nearly 30 years many of those with her husband, where she was known as Ms. Cecil and made many friends over those years. She also was a very talented seamstress and sewed for many over the years. She loved to go places and was always up for a trip with her friends, it did not matter where, as long as she was going somewhere. In retirement, she took up watercolors and line dancing and could be found every Friday and Saturday night at the Senior Center. Her favorite activity was with the Primetime group at Central Church of Christ where she was a faithful member.

Eneloit enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest even when she was not in good health. She had many friends and tried to be the encourager to others when she could. She was helpful to many and will be missed by all.
