Obituary for Foster Wyite Nelson
Foster Wyite Nelson, 55, left this world, on Sept. 19, 2022.
He was a 1986 graduate of White County High School. He loved working on race cars and driving them. Foster also enjoyed working on other vehicles and hunting and fishing with his boys.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane McIntosh Frasier; his brother, Larry E. Nelson; and his niece, Alma Danielle Greer.
Foster is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia Lack Nelson, of Sparta; two sons, David Wyite Nelson, Raymond Glenn (Julee Smith ) Nelson, from Panama City, Florida, but resides in Dunlap, Tennessee; and awaiting the arrival of first granddaughter, Reeslynn Ray Nelson; his father, Raymond (Frances) Nelson, of Panama City, Florida; sisters, Kristy Nelson (daughter Paige Zerr), of Panama City, Florida, Pamela Baker (son Joseph Baker), of Panama City, Florida; stepfather, Tommy Frasier; grandfather, James Cavanah (Donna), of Sparta; step-sisters, Dona Townsend, Susan (Jayson) Gay, and Sherry (Kenny) Knowles all of Panama City, FL. Many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 3:00 - 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home.
