Gayle Wayne Vance, age 76 of Doyle, Tennessee passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, at his home.

He was born January 20, 1946 in Sparta, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Carl and Willene Vance. He was married to his wife, Wanda, for 46 years. Gayle Wayne was a retired truck driver and farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Alex Vance; brother, Gayewon Vance; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Lenora Lawson; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Loyd and Bobbie Wilson.

Survivors include:

Wife- Wanda Vance of Doyle, TN

Daughter- Altia Vance (Daniel) of Petersburg, TN

Brothers- Bill Vance of Spencer, TN and Howard Vance (Sandra) of Doyle, TN

Sisters-in-Law- Barbara Vance and Jewel Guy

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Tracy Curtis officiating. Burial will follow in Vance Family Cemetery in Van Buren County. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of the service at the funeral home.
