James Arnold Hickey, age 68 of Cookeville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was born Tuesday, July 8, 1952 in Sparta, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Clay and Velma Selby Hickey. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and soulmate. He was an avid collector of comic books and cards. He also enjoyed tinkering with antique cars and trucks.
Mr. Hickey served in the United States Navy, and he worked at Mallory Timers, Red Cap, and Walmart.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Wife- Linda Gail Young Hickey of Cookeville, TN
Son- Joshua Benjamin Hickey of Cookeville, TN
Daughter- Platisha Sharyne Ford (Jonathan) of Cookeville, TN
Grandson- Johnathan Caleb Ford of Cookeville, TN
Sisters- Clada Cole (Tommy) of Sparta, TN and Carolyn Hickey of Alabama
