Obituary for Jane Bradley Harrison

Jane was born in Sparta, TN in 1934.

She married at a young age and had 3 children. She was a wife, a mother, and a homemaker until her children were in high school. At that time, she had the desire and courage to go to Tennessee Tech and get her teaching degree.

Jane began teaching in 1972 and was a White County Kindergarten teacher for 24 years. She began her teaching career at Baker School then taught at Woodland Park Elementary School until her retirement.

After retiring, she remodeled and lived in the old farmhouse she was born in. She started raising beef cattle and enjoyed living on Bradley Farm for many years.

Jane loved to travel and explored all of the USA with her best friend and husband, Tom Harrison.

Jane also played piano and played at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church for many years.

Jane was an independent lady with a heart of gold, she wore many hats in her lifetime. She loved her family and was a devoted mother to her children, grandchild, and great-grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. May she forever rest in peace in her beloved community of Hickory Valley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. Bradley and Maude Oakes Bradley, her son, Barry Bradley Cooper, her sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Walter Steimel, her brother, Charles Bradley Jr., and her husband, Tom Harrison.

Survivors include:

Daughters- Cyndi Murdock and Rita Susan Cooper

Granddaughter- Aminee M. Cumby (Justin Cumby)

Great-Grandchildren- Lakyn and London Cumby
