John David "John John" Cloyd, Jr., age 57 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at his home.
He was born September 17, 1964 in Sparta, Tennessee. He was the son of the late John Cloyd Sr. and Linda Cope Cloyd. He worked at Wagner Electric for over 35 years. He was a member of Indian Mound Baptist Church. John was a farmer, outdoorsman, and dedicated over a decade to coaching youth sports. John John was truly the epitome of selfless love and took care of others before himself. He was a proud father and loving pa.Those who knew him knew the love he had for his family and God.
He was preceded in death by his father, John David Cloyd Sr.
Survivors include:
Sons- Josh Cloyd (Melissa) of Greenback, TN and Chase Cloyd (Whitney) of Monterey, TN
Grandchildren- Reid Cloyd and Colin Cloyd
Mother- Linda Cloyd of Sparta, TN
Brother- Joey Cloyd of Sparta, TN
Sisters- Laurainda Hallums (Joe) of Sparta, TN and Lori Alexander of Sparta, TN
He is also survived and loved by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors of the Old Zion community, and his Wagner work family.
Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Frank Randolph officiating. The family will welcome friends on Friday from 3:00 PM until time of the service.
