Obituary for John David Fowler

John David Fowler, age 64 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee. David was born on Thursday, December 26, 1957 in Spencer, Tennessee to the late John Patrick "Buddy" and Martha Jane O'Connor Fowler.

To know David was to love him. He was always in good spirits and had a joke to tell. David was raised in Spencer, TN and a graduate of Spencer High School. David would find his way to Michigan, where he would complete college with a mechanic degree. He would put his degree to work with working and managing a parts store. David would later move back to Sparta, TN and become a full-time mechanic and also meet the love of his life, Flo.

David was the Chevrolet man of the family. He would build many cars and trucks with racing motors but, would love to tinker on all cars. David would call himself a "Jack of All Trades but Master of None!" He lived life with joy and happiness.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal Grandparents- Joseph and Oceia (Caldwell) O'Connor, and his paternal Grandparents- William Clarence and Pauline Fowler. He was also preceded in death by his sister- Kathy Fowler; brothers- Steve Fowler and Alfred Fowler.

Those left to cherish his memory include:

His wife of 33 years- Claudine "Flo" Fowler.

Sons- Jared "Bub" Fowler (Sunni), Christopher Woody (Sherry), and John Boyd.

Daughter- Amanda Boyd Greer

Sisters- Rhonda M. Fowler, and Jaime Batson (Jeff)

Grandchildren - Madison, Abigail, Brayden, Rylan, Rylee, Chole, Jaxon, and Nolan

He was also known as Uncle Pa to Emma, Gracie, and Amira

A host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

Honorary Pallbearers to serve include: Kenny Randolph, Jeff Batson, Cody Batson, Jared Batson, Stephen Fowler, Jerry Johnson, Mack "Skinny" Lawson, and Doug Prater.

Family will recieve friends from 4 - 6 PM Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home.
