Joyce Ann Gunter-Messer, 71, of Spencer, TN passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, in Sparta, TN. Mrs. Messer was born on October 4, 1949, in Jamestown, TN to the late Roy and Maxine Gunter
.
Mrs. Messer enjoyed traveling, going to flea markets, antiquing, and the 127 yard sale. She was known for her cooking, being a homemaker, a good friend, a kind person, with a very sweet smile.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gunter was preceded in death by:
Brother, Bob Gunter, Brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Edith Gunter, and daughter, Myra Gunter Enterkin.
Surviving Family include:
Brother, Jerry Wright (Irene) of Sunbright, TN
Loving Companion, Ernest Messer of Rickman, TN
Granddaughter, Holly Enterkin of Muncie, IN
Sister-in-law, Jamie Gunter, Farmland, IN.
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on a later date at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Muncie, IN. Please contact Oak Lawn Funeral Home for service information.
