Obituary for Judith Ann Stewart
Judith Ann "The Queen" Stewart, age 78 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta, Tennessee.
She was born August 20, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Edgar Gleed and Edith Urion Gleed. She was the office manager at Carrie's Dance Academy for 13 years, a member of Friendship United Methodist Church, and involved with the Eastern Star for many years. Ms. Judy loved her community, especially her CDA family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Stewart Sr. and her daughter, Jennifer Stewart.
Survivors include:
Son- Douglas Stewart Jr. (Terrie) of Sparta, TN
Daughter- Carrie Edmonds (Nathan) of Sparta, TN
Grandchildren- Emma Stewart, Grace Stewart, Tyler Stewart, Karlee Edmonds and Ally Edmonds
Twin Sister- Jean Sloane (Jim) of Philadelphia, PA
Niece and Nephews- Laura Sloane, Jeff Sloane and Jimmy Sloane
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 PM on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Friendship United Methodist Church in Cookeville, TN with Pastor Carl Stiglich officiating. The family will welcome friends on Monday from 4:30 PM until time of the service at the church.
