Kenneth Wayne Selby, age 76 of Walling, Tennessee passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, at NHC Healthcare of Sparta.
He was born May 11, 1946 in Sparta, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Comer Lee and Mae Copeland Selby. He was a logger for Flatt Logging Company in Cookeville before retiring. He loved working outdoors and enjoyed hunting. He was married to Walisha Selby for the last 17 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jacquelin Keen; son, Christopher Selby; brother, Carlis Selby; and sisters, Ina Payne and Faye Selby.
Survivors include:

Son- Nathan Selby of Sparta, TN
Grandchildren- Savannah Keen of Sparta, TN; Bret Keen of Sparta, TN; Kristan Rittenberry (Tommy) of Quebeck, TN; and James Martin of Sparta, TN
Great-Grandchildren- Gabriel Rittenberry and Anthony Rittenberry
Brothers- Gene Selby (Donna) of FL; Roger Selby (Debbie) of Sparta, TN; Richard Selby of Sparta, TN; Mike Selby (Linda) of Crossville, TN; and Pat Selby (Laura) of Sparta, TN
Sisters- Ruth Selby of Crossville, TN; Deanna Oliver of Sparta, TN; and Gail Kirby (Charles) of Sparta, TN
A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
The family has chosen to honor Mr. Selby's last wishes of cremation. There will be a graveside service at a later date to be determined by the family.
