Mr. Lenard M. Broyles, 92 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at his home surrounded by his children.
Mr. Broyles was born August 14, 1928 to the late Mark and Irene Rascoe Broyles. After serving in the Army Air Force, Mr. Broyles went to work for the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier for 34 1/2 years. He was known for his painting and wall papering skills. He was a member of the West Sparta Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Elizabeth Trapp Broyles, great-grandson, Dayton Michael Moss, siblings, Rascoe Broyles, Lois Elese Broyles, Ed Broyles, Joe Broyles, Dale Lowery, Charles Broyles, and Harold Broyles.
Survivors include:
Daughters- Patty Rose (Marvin), Sherry Beth Mills (Dennis), and Teria Ridley (Devin)
Son- Michael Broyles (Connie Swann)
Granchildren- Michele Anderson (Randy), Chasity Wilson (Greg), McKinzie Rose (Erin), Tyler Davis (Elora), Kylee Moss (Will), Trenton Davis, Ireneo Rose ( Amanda), and Michael Lynn Broyles (Whitney)
Great-Grandchildren- Hayley, Conner, Kaitlyn, Alyson, Olivia, Will, Hallie, Ada, Archer, Mason, Braxton, Cru, Tinsley, Huxton, Skyler, and Addie
Great-Great-Granchild- Rowan Bradley
Sister- Mary Ann Brock
Sister-in-Laws- Sue Broyles and Shelby Broyles
Special Friend- Upha Ross
A host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at West Sparta Church of Christ with Jeff Turner officiating. Burial with full military honors by the Veterans’ Honor Guard will follow at Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until time of the service at the church.
