Sept 12th. Just learned of Linda's passing, with sadness. May God bless her family with comfort and solace.
Linda and I were high school classmates at Walsingham Academy, Class of '67, in Williamsburg, VA. I remember her older brother, Steve as well. I have fond memories of times at the Winter's home with other classmates, just spending some fun time together, or getting ready for a double or triple date with Linda and her date. We had a number of dances in the all-purpose room of our high school, and those of us who usually went without a date enjoyed the dances with each other. Linda and I were among that group. Linda loved to dance, and was full of energy, joy and smiles as she enjoyed the music, the dance floor and her dance partner of the moment. I wish she had been able to attend our 50th ( and final) class reunion 3 years ago in Williamsburg. I would have loved to have seen her and talked with her about her life and her family, and shared some memories of our high school days. May she rest in peace in the loving hands of our God, and may her family be comforted with many fond memories of her.

Roy , Mary Catherine ,Kristine, grandchildren, and families. Our hearts are breaking for all of you. What can I say about Linda, for me She was not like a cousin she was my second sister , Linda brought happiness to any occasion. The times we traveled together were so much fun. And at her birthday party you could tell how much she was loved..Her smile was always very contagious , she especially loved it when she would win a game, Roy and Linda were great people to visit they always had some different card games and etc. to play, and. They were very good at it.but For Linda the cream of the crop was when she beat Roy. Ourbest memories were on their boat, one time Roy pulled Linda and I on the raft behind the boat, so much fun I came so close to falling off , I held on for dear life, as the water was I believe 40ft. Deep. I cannot think of Tennessee without thoughts of my dear friend .Linda, my heart has a hole in it never to be healed, like the one for my Mom and Dad . Will miss you happy girl ❤️ Love JuliaAnn ,Ralph and your special shared birthday girl, Paula. P.S. We will be sending photos to Roy.soon..

Linda, Roy, Mary Catherine, and Kristin were very dear to me while they lived in Clintwood. Linda was a great friend with whom I spent a lot of time. Linda always had a smile, and was so upbeat. I have many fond memories of her, Roy and the girls. Linda will be sorely missed.
