Obituary for Lucy Louise Henry
Lucy Louise Henry, age 88 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Life Care Center of Sparta.
She was born March 11, 1933 in Cookeville, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Johnny Estil and Gladys Fitzpatrick Wright. She was a member of Findlay Church of Christ. She worked for the White County School System for many years. She loved her family very much.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Henry and sister, Lena Farris.
Survivors include:
Son- Kevin Lee Henry (Renee) of Sparta, TN
Daughter- Joan Elaine Gilliam (Denny) of Sparta, TN
Grandchildren- Chaz Gilliam of Sparta, TN; Keela Henry (Roy) of Bowling Green, KY; Chelsey Curry (Dan) of Lebanon, TN; and Macee Howard (Travis) of Sparta, TN
Great-Grandchildren- Madison Henry, Beau Curry, Brooks Howard, Karleedo Sampson, and Kash Sampson
Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Monday from 11:00 AM until time of the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers to serve- Roy Sampson, Mark Farris, Chaz Gilliam, Dan Curry, Travis Howard, Mike Sims, John David Wilson, and Denny Walker
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Alzheimer's Association.
