Obituary for Mary Catherine Wilkey
Mary Catherine Wilkey, age 79 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Signature HealthCare of Putnam County.
She was born August 23, 1942 in Elwood, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late John Groover and Edith Cornwell Groover. She was a member of Plainview Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wilkey Sr., daughter, Brenda Rose and grandsons, Christopher Cox and Shawn Cox.
Survivors include:
Son- Joe Wilkey Jr. of Sparta, TN
Grandchildren- Rebecca Sizelove, Monty Cox, Michael Cox, and Shasta Winnett.
Several Great-Grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Eugene Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery in the Cassville community. The family will welcome friends on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of the service at the funeral home.
