Obituary for Michael Eugene Simmons
Michael Eugene Simmons, age 50, of Doyle, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville.
He was born on January 1, 1971 in Spencer, Tennessee.
He loved race cars and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Simmons.
He is survived by his son, Jonathan Simmons and daughter, Millie Simmons Long (Mathew) both of Sparta, mother, Janice Ingrid Simmons of Doyle, brother, Randy Simmons of Sparta, sisters, Phyllis Simmons of Sparta and Carolyn Simmons Winchester (Channon) of Baxter, and also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family will recieve friends from 4:00- 8:00 pm Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Spencer Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Spencer Funeral Home and burial will follow the service at Old Bon Air Cemetery, Sparta, TN.
