Obituary for Naomi Frances Redwine

Naomi Frances Redwine was born in Conway South Carolina on October 30, 1939 to the loving parents of Emerson and Lillie Martin. On December 7, 2020 she began her peaceful rest in the arms of God and was met by her husband, Eugene.

Naomi grew up in South Carolina but at the age of 14 ½ married her husband and moved to Coal-Tip Hollow in Crab Orchard Tennessee where she and her sister-in-law, Virginia Collins “grew up together”. She took great pride in being a housekeeper, mother of four children, and a minister’s wife for over forty years. She and her husband were the overseers of a small rural church where she sang, played the drums, and was known for her great cooking abilities.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene V. Redwine to whom she was married for 65 years, son, Jerry Eugene Redwine, daughter-in-law, Teresa Pickle Redwine, and daughter, Amanda Dore Redwine.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Sherry Diane Jackson and Dr. Angela Marcheta Redwine. Five grandchildren include, Misty, Haley, Melanie, Kiley, and Jason. Numerous great grandchildren also survive. She will be missed by her many Church friends and other family members.

Memorial services to be held at a later date.
