I remember Ralph was helping me with a car issue across from the church one day and a man walked up and asked him to witness an agreement between he and another person. Ralph was known for integrity and honesty and he several folks asked him to witness agreements. If he said it was so, it was so.

Ralph and I were in school to gather he was a great guy you did not know he was around till he got on the football field. He was a great wing back he could run he would tell a story about Bob Price he said he would block for him. And then get up to watch him run Bobby was an All american tail back.

My family and I have known Ralph ever since we moved to Tennessee back in the late 70s. I knew him through Gainesboro First United Methodist Church. I always loved the whole family: Ralph, Patsy, Doug, Kevin, and Kim. They are all good people. My dad, (Edward Snyder), wrote some memoirs one time and there was a part in it that mentioned Ralph. My dad worked as a social worker by day but also ran a farm so one day he was taking the pigs to the stock barn in an old truck and he got stranded on the side of the road and he called Ralph and got Doug to open the part store. Ralph got him going and saved the day! Ralph was one of my dad's first friends here.
