Rex Leroy Jones, age 86 of Smithville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, Tennessee.

He was born April 6, 1935 in Mohawk , Tennessee. He was the son of the late Samuel and Myrtle McGuffin Jones.

Survivors include:

Wife- Vonda Sharon Jones of Smithville, TN

Son- Randall Alan Jones (Janet) of Bulls Gap, TN

Daughter- Peggy Roberts (A.G.) of McMinnville, TN

Sister- Betty Louise Higgins (Jimmie) of Greenville, TN

Step-Children- Paul Luna (Mindy) of Smithville, TN; Paula Webber (Larry) of KY; Phillip Luna (Alisha) of Sparta, TN and Pamela Rutledge (JR) of McMinnville, TN

Grandchildren- Joshua Jones, Rachael Bowman, Loretta Young and Jennifer Roberts

Many other family members also survive.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery with Jimmy Barrett officiating.
