Richard Carl Peters was born on July 1st, 1939, in Rhinelander, WI to Helen and James Peters. He was the third of five Sibling and grew up in Tuscon, AZ, where he graduated from Tuscon High School. He worked for 25 years as a locksmith with the Tuscon Unified School District, where he retired in 1994.

Richard married the love of his life, Jane Peters on February 11th, 1961, and have enjoyed 60 years of marriage together. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. He also loved spending time with his family. He is a member of Heavenly Host Lutheran Church in Cookeville, TN.

Richard Is preceded in death by his parents, Helen and James, and sister Anita.

He is survived by Wife, Jane Heimbuch- Peters
Children, Carl (Valery), Tim (Stacy), and Sharon (Dennis)
6 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren, and 3 Siblings.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home from 2 till 3 PM. The graveside service directly following at 3 PM, at Oak Lawn Memorial Cemetery with Gerald Meyer and Keith Pickard officiating.
