Robert Edwin Merrell,86, of Sparta, TN passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2020 in Nashville, TN. Mr. Merrell was born on March 13, 1934 to the late Ernest and Rhea Hughes Merrell.

Robert loved working on small engines and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Brother, Edward Merrell.

Mr. Merrell is survived by Wife, Beatrice Joy Merrell of Sparta, TN
Daughters- Natalie Merrell of TX and Laura Vaugh (Steven) of Sparta, TN
Sons- Robert Merrell Jr. of Sparta, TN and Daniel Merrell of Sparta, TN
Eight Grandchildren, Eighteen Great-Grandchildren, and one Great-Great-Grandson
Sister- Charlotte Lytle of Shelbyville, TN
He is also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie McCormick officiating. The family will welcome friends on Sunday from 12:30 P.M. until time of the service at the funeral home.
