He was born Monday, November 1, 1943 in St. Paul , Minnesota. He was the son of the late Edward and Kathryn Thury Novak.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Sisters- Carol Ramos of McMinnville, TN and Kate Elhardt of St. Paul, MN
Brother-in-Law- Tom Windorfer (Judy) of Gulf Breeze, FL
