Obituary for Roger Dale Clary

Roger Dale Clary, age 74, passed away suddenly Dec. 2, 2020, after his heart just stopped.

Mr. Clary was born Aug. 26, 1946, the son of Sylmer and Helen Clary. He grew up in Huntington, West Virginia.

Mr. Clary was a retired OTR truck driver. He enjoyed traveling and was fortunate enough to visit all 48 contiguous states. He served in the Army National Guard and remained a loyal patriot throughout his life. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and camping. He encountered many ups and downs throughout his life and managed to keep his faith. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Clary; son, Kevin Clary; and brother, Bernard Clary.

Survivors include his daughter, Christina DeWeese (Kelly); daughter-in-law, Odetta Clary; grandchildren, Charlie Dale Tollison (Kayla), Kayla Clary, Dalton DeWeese, Kasey Clary (Cara); three great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Gail Clary, Shirley Hartley (Gerald), Rhonda Porter; brother-in-law, Larry Porter (Vickie); and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Dewey Young officiating. The family will welcome friends on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until time of the service at the funeral home.
