Obituary for Ronnie Leon Bennett
Ronnie Leon Bennett, 72 of Sparta, TN passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.
He was born Thursday, January 8, 1948 in Rickman, TN, he was the son of the late Cecil and Pauline Thompson Bennett.
Ronnie served as Director of White County EMS for 25 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Shane Maples.
Survivors include:
Wife- Jane Bennett of Sparta, TN
Sons- Chip Bennett (Renee) of Cookeville, TN and Jon Bennett (Kris) of McMinnville, TN
Daughter-in-law- Amanda Maples (Wife of Shane Maples)
Grandsons- Dustin Bennett, Austin Bennett, Kai Bennett, Kase Bennett, Stephen Maples, and Daniel Maples
Granddaughters- Jordan Bennett, Sailor Bennett, Taylor Claborn and Lexi Maples
Great-Grandchildren- Gavin, Ivy, Decklan, Alex, Felicity, and Gwen
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. The family will welcome immediate family and close friends on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until time of the service at the funeral home.
