Rosie Jean Edwards, 73 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born Saturday, May 31, 1947 in Jamestown, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Bennie and Lillie Cobb Epperson.
She was a founding member of Christ Point Church.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Bennie Epperson, Mother, Lillie (Cobb) Epperson, Sisters, Anna Smith and Judy Eitel, and Brother-in-Law, Billy Vance.
Survivors include:
The Love of her Life, Husband, Byron Edwards
Children- Tonya Perry (Lance Attanasio), Byron Edwards Jr. (Sharon), and Lily Loughman (Steve)
Grandchildren- Cole and Bailey Perry, Sabrina and Ashley Edwards, Brandon, Daniel, and Dylan Loughman
Great-Grandchildren- Rheagan and Seth Loughman
Sisters- Linda Vance, Virginia Epperson, and Debbie Isaacs
Brother- Bennie Epperson
Brother-in-Law- Kenny Eitel
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Rosie was a Mother to many.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Steve Qualls officiating. The family will welcome friends on Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of the service at the funeral home.
IT WAS MRS. ROSIE'S WISH THAT ALL ATTENDEES PLEASE WEAR A FACE MASK DUE TO COVID-19. THE FAMILY WILL HELP PROVIDE FACE MASKS AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
