Obituary for Roy Howard Farmer

Funeral Services for Mr. Roy Howard Farmer, age 83, of Quebeck will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Gum Springs Baptist Church with Bo Hendrix officiating. The family will welcome friends Thursday morning from 11:00am until time of the service at the church. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Oak Lawn Funeral Home.

Mr. Farmer was born August 19, 1938 in St. Joseph, Missouri, the son of the late Robert and Ruby (Zion) Farmer. He passed from this life on April 24, 2022 at his home in Quebeck, Tennessee. In addition to his parents, Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Donna (Reeds) Farmer, sister Ruth (Farmer) Swan as well as his brothers Reverend Richard Farmer and Rex Farmer. He was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church for 46 years. At his retirement he had been employed by Emerson Appliance (formerly Mallory Controls). He enjoyed working on his 44-acre farm, raising various breeds of cattle and making conservation improvements to the farm.
