Russell Gregory Giampietro Sr. was born in New York city on July 13th, 1940 to Josephine and Pasqual (Patrick) Giampietro. He had two brothers, Clifford, who preceded him in death, and Ronald, who currently resides in New Jersey. He left this life the morning of May 3rd, 2019. He was seventy-eight years old.
He is survived by his son, Russell Giampietro Jr. of Sparta, TN wife Laurie, John Giampietro of Knoxville, TN and fiancé Tamika, and daughter Georgianna Giampietro, of Sparta, TN, son Tony Giampietro and wife Kickan of Hudiksvall, Sweden, granddaughters Sarah, Keala and Emmalina Amelianna Giampietro, grandsons Giavanino Giampietro, Kevin Giampietro and Daniel Price and fiancé Santos of Sparta, TN, step-grandchildren Brianna, Stephen, Nicole, Cassiel, Zoey, Leah, Jr. and Aland, and one great grandchild, Gabriel Anthony Ray Price, and many friends in the community.
The family has chosen cremation and has scheduled a public memorial service at the Sparta Civic Center on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM.
