Ruth Wallace, 90 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital in Sparta.

She was born Sunday, April 13, 1930 in Haysi, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Grant and Vida Childress Coxton. She enjoyed shopping, country music, her dog, Cosmo, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Wallace.

Survivors include:

Sons- Ronnie Wallace (Kim) of VA; Gary Wallace of Sparta, TN; and John Wallace of Sparta, TN

Daughter- Tammie Wallace of Sparta, TN

9 Grandchildren

2 Great-Grandchildren

Sisters- Alice Doty of GA and Helen Clevenger of KY

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with James Dukes officiating. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday from 3:00 P.M. until time of the service at the funeral home.
