Terry Lynn Scott, age 80 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, at his home.

He was born April 18, 1942 in Anderson, Indiana. He was the son of the late James and Mildred Hensley Scott. Terry loved coaching baseball and enjoyed being around children.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Scott.

Survivors include:

Daughters- Starlena Adams (John) of Sparta, TN and Elaine Scott of Sparta, TN

Sons- Stephen Scott of Indianapolis, IN and Christopher Scott of Sparta, TN

Grandchildren- Kelsey McCulley, Brandy Tittsworth, Chad Dunham, Lindsay Dunham, Jerry Scott, Damon Scott, Paige Scott Reed, and Eli Scott.

15 Great-Grandchildren also survive

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Dr. Ty Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers to serve are Jonathan Smith, Damon Scott, Lucas Reed, Burt Montgomery, George Tittswoth, and Trysten Scott
