What comes to my mind most easily is that very first dinner we shared. Oliver extended an invitation to dinner at his home for three young ladies serving in the Navy. Trouble was, he didn't ask Betty Faye FIRST before inviting us. I could see surprised glances between Betty Faye and her husband. Without a word of explanation, she graciously went along. By the end of that dinner, it was apparent that a lifelong friendship had begun. I am grateful that Betty Faye's faith in God that ALL things are intentional in purpose and nothing is done unless it conforms to God's will. She opened her home and heart at a time when I needed guidance. Nothing is merely a "coincidence".
